Made in America

On September 15, 1988, the first Toyota Camry produced in an American factory arrived by rail at SET’s Port facility for processing. The popular model, which was manufactured at Toyota’s Georgetown, Ky., facility, has gone through several transformations since making its American-made debut. The U.S.-built Camry took the top spot in 2015 and 2016 as the most American-made car, with more than 75 percent of its parts and manufacturing resources coming from the United States.
