Associate Support During Times of Crisis
The Associates Helping Associates (AHA) program was established in 2006 as a response to associates’ interest in giving back following a particularly destructive hurricane season.
AHA is an extraordinary program that provides immediate financial support when an associate experiences a hardship due to total or partial loss of a home, or passing of an immediate family member. Since the program began, more than 500 associates have received nearly $1 million in assistance, made possible by the generosity of those who support AHA through annual contributions or ongoing payroll deductions.
Recently, the AHA program was expanded to help associates’ family members who were impacted by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria. Affected family members (parents, siblings, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews) were eligible to receive $1,000 in assistance per household. AHA provided more than $200,000 to associates and their families who were impacted by these three devastating storms.
